Cosmetic Dentistry

Give Your Smile a Makeover

Chips, stains, and gaps aren’t always indicative of serious dental issues, but they can still take their toll on your appearance and self-confidence. We invite you to tell our dentists about the imperfections that cause you to hide your teeth; they can introduce you to various treatment options (such as veneers and whitening) and help put together a personalized plan that reflects your personal goal as well as your schedule and lifestyle.

Dental Implants

Long-Lasting, Lifelike Dental Implants

Adult teeth do not grow back when lost, but that doesn’t mean you’re stuck with an unsightly gap. Thanks to dental implants, we can give you a replacement tooth that mimics the overall structure of the natural one. The implant will act as the root that anchors a dental restoration to the jawbone, meaning it won’t just look like the real thing; it will feel and function like it as well. And unlike other dental offices, we can complete every step of the process right here in-house.

Invisalign® Clear Braces

Straighten Your Smile with Invisalign

No matter how necessary they may be for correcting a crooked smile, teens and adults generally agree that wearing braces is no fun. You do, however, have options if you’re only looking to make mild to moderate improvements. With Invisalign, clear aligners are used in place of the normal brackets and wires, making your treatment much more discreet. Since the aligners are removable, you can go ahead and eat whatever you want while brushing and flossing like you always do.

Frequently Asked Questions

You’re always welcome to call our office if you have any questions or concerns about your oral health, but we know that sometimes it’s nice to also get quick, simple answers! We’ve pooled together some of the most frequently asked questions we get at Advanced Dental Concepts, and below, you’ll find our responses. Give them a readthrough if you’d like, and feel free to explore our website further.

How do I get emergency dental care?

For problems like a severe toothache, broken dental work or natural teeth, bleeding gums, or having a hazardous object stuck between your pearly whites, we recommend contacting our office to request an emergency dental appointment. Our team can guide you through any necessary first-aid over the phone and help you schedule a visit – we’ll try to see you the same day if at all possible!

In the event of a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 immediately. Our office is well-equipped to handle various urgent oral issues, but we can’t administer life-saving care and don’t have access to ambulances.

What is the best way to find a cosmetic dentist?

Finding a cosmetic dentist near you can be tricky. Unlike other specialties that have specific qualifications and designations, almost any dentist could be considered a “cosmetic dentist.”

If you want to make sure you’ll receive high-quality dental cosmetics, we recommend looking for someone who has completed advanced training in the treatment you’re considering, or is affiliated with a notable organization, such as the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Our very own Dr. Hayes is a member of the AACD, and you can read more about his experience as a dentist and what the AACD is in his bio.

Can I receive sedation for my dental appointment?

Yes – you certainly can receive dental sedation at Advanced Dental Concepts! Dr. Hayes has completed continuing education courses for dental sedation and can administer oral conscious sedation or nitrous oxide (laughing gas). Which one is right for you will depend on factors such as your level of anxiety or discomfort, and your health history. Because of this, we encourage patients to call our office in advance for a consultation.

Why do you treat sleep apnea?

Believe it or not, some types of sleep apnea can be treated with an oral sleep appliance! Obstructive sleep apnea, for example, occurs when the airway is “obstructed” by soft tissue or an improper bite alignment. This makes it difficult for your body to receive oxygen while lying down for bed, so your brain pulls you out of deep sleep, interrupting your rest.

By examining your mouth and designing a custom oral sleep appliance, we can essentially move obstructions out of the way, allowing you to breathe more freely and rest more fully!
